clean sweep winning all 6 games to take the championship at the Heart of
Ohio Memorial ASA tournament May 28th

June 19th, 2006: The 16-U
(Abraham) team got 3rd
out of 32 at the
prestigious Compuware
tournament with a 6-1
record.
The
team also went 6-1
winning their pool at
the Toledo Tune - Up

June 26th, 2006: The Buckeye Heat 16U Abraham team were the champions at the Shreve ASA
National Qualifier winning their berth to the ASA Nationals held in Seattle
Washington! The team defeated the Corona Angels, So Cal 3D, Virginia Legends
and Oregon Slammers. All were very strong teams. |

World Series, the
Buckeye Heat
(Abraham) 16U Team has a
record of 53 wins,
10 losses and 1 tie.

The team went
4-2 getting knocked
out late Friday
evening in their 3rd
game of the day by
the Bay State Brats
from Massachusetts. Good Luck in
Seattle at the ASA

August 6th, 2006:
Buckeye Heat
16-U
Abraham team
went 5-2 at the ASA
"A" Nationals held
in Seattle
Washington. They
placed 33rd out of
140 teams, finishing
in the top 25%. The
team was knocked out
of the tournament
late Friday evening
in their third game
of the day losing to
the Shamrocks by 1
run.
ASA Nationals are the
pinnacle of fastpitch.

Clark goes 5-0
on the weekend to
win the GFOD 14U
Championship.
The day started with
a 5-0 victory over
the Ashland Blaze,
followed by a 10-4
win over the Teays
Valley Vikings. The Heat started the championship game with 7 runs in the
top of the first inning and cruised to a 10-5 victory. |

The
Buckeye Heat 16U (Abraham)
team placed third in the Fairborn Memorial Blast May 29, 2005, placed second
in the John Wells Memorial Super Six in Zanesville June 5, 2005, finished in
top 8 out of 32 teams at Compuware June 19th 2005, placed third in the
Stingray Invitational June 12th, 2005, tied for third in Sluggerfest II June
26th 2005, finished 17th
out of 55 teams July 3rd, 2005 at the Colorado Fireworks tournament,
finished 3rd out of 24 teams July 17th, 2005 at GAPSS, and tied for first
place out of 42 teams at the Toledo Fastpitch Classic July 24th, 2005.
Abraham's team wrapped up the 2005 season by playing up at the 18-U level
and taking first place at the GFOD Final Blast II July 31st 2005. Most
of the young ladies on this team were still 14-U eligible this year. The
team's final record for the summer was 47-18.

team took second at the Whitehall Hall of Fame
ASA Qualifier June 5, 2005, qualified for USSSA Nationals at the Phoenix
Summer Slam July 3rd, 2005, and placed second at the Ohio Classics Pony
Qualifier July 10th, 2005. They will be attending USSSA Nationals this year.
