 The following Buckeye Heat players were chosen to attend the prestigious Queen of Diamonds South  Showcase, held at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina on August 31st - September 2nd 2007. NEW  October 29, 2006:    The Buckeye Heat 18U Abraham team attended the prestigious Rising Stars Fall Showcase in Davie Florida October 27th-29th, 2006. The team won 4 of their 5 games. Congratulations!   Photos

Buckeye Heat 18U Blackburn team takes second place at Westerville Warcat Invitational June 18th,2006

July 9th, 2006:   Buckeye Heat-Blackburn 18 U team took second place at the GAPSS tournament. Congratulations!

  Buckeye Heat 16U Abraham team makes a clean sweep winning all 6 games to take the championship at the Heart of Ohio Memorial ASA tournament May 28th 2006.

 June 19th, 2006: The 16-U (Abraham) team got 3rd out of 32 at the prestigious Compuware tournament with a 6-1 record.

  The team also went 6-1 winning their pool at the Toledo Tune - Up June 11th, 2006

  .

 June 26th, 2006: The Buckeye Heat 16U Abraham team were the champions at the Shreve ASA National Qualifier winning their berth to the ASA Nationals held in Seattle Washington! The team defeated the Corona Angels, So Cal 3D, Virginia Legends and Oregon Slammers. All were very strong teams.

July 3rd, 2006:16-U Abraham team went 7-2 to finish 3rd at the NSA A State 

 

 July 9th, 2006:   Buckeye Heat- Abraham 16 U team makes another clean sweep this weekend winning all 7 games to take the championship at the Loudonville ASA Invitational.

July 16th, 2006:   Buckeye Heat- Abraham 16 U team places fourth at the Stingrays ASA Invitational.

Going into the NSA World Series, the Buckeye Heat (Abraham) 16U Team has a record of 53 wins, 10 losses and 1 tie. Congratulations Ladies! The team went 4-2 getting knocked out late Friday evening in their 3rd game of the day by the Bay State Brats from Massachusetts. Good Luck in Seattle at the ASA Nationals! Go Heat!

 August 6th, 2006:   Buckeye Heat 16-U Abraham team went 5-2 at the ASA "A" Nationals held in Seattle Washington. They placed 33rd out of 140 teams, finishing in the top 25%. The team was knocked out of the tournament late Friday evening in their third game of the day losing to the Shamrocks by 1 run. ASA Nationals are the pinnacle of fastpitch.

   February 19th, 2006  Heat Clark goes  5-0 on the weekend to win the GFOD 14U Championship.   
 
The day started with a 5-0 victory over the Ashland Blaze, followed by a 10-4 win over the Teays Valley Vikings. The Heat started the championship game with 7 runs in the top of the first inning and cruised to a 10-5 victory.

May 21st Buckeye Heat 14U Clark team wins Greenville Early Bird tournament

Buckeye Heat 14U Clark team wins second tournament this season at the USSSA Southern State at Beavercreek in the 14U division June 4th 2006

June 19th, 2006:14-U (Clark) team went 1-4 at Compuware. The team had one close game after another against some of the top teams in the Midwest.  To give an idea of the competition, Clark's team was 25-4 going into the tournament.

July 3rd, 2006:The 14-U Clark team went 4-2 at the NSA A State in Cincinnati.

              


 

Buckeye Heat (Allen) 13U take second place at the USSSA Southern State at Beavercreek in the 14U division June 4th 2006.

Buckeye Heat 13U Allen team finishes third in the Greenville Early Bird Tune-Up!

June 26th, 2006:The 13U Allen finished 3rd at Whitehall.

June 19th, 2006:The 13-U (Allen) team won the Westerville tournament at 14-U with a 7-0 record.

 July 3rd, 2006:The 13-U Allen team went to Niagara Falls and won the tournament there, winning 2-1 over another Ohio team in the final.

 June 19th, 2006 The 13-U (Woods) team went 4-1 at the USSSA State and got 5th place

The Buckeye Heat 12U Howe finished as runners up in the Marion Summer Rebellion  PONY National Qualifier.  The team went 5-1 losing a tough championship game to the Heart of Ohio Force in 8 innings, July 18th 2006. June 19th, 2006:12-U (Howe) team places second in Marion
Buckeye Heat 12U Howe team takes first place at the Rip It Up Pony Tournament June 4th 2006!

June 26th, 2006: The 12U Howe team won the Whitehall Tourney, finishing 4-0 and outscoring their opponents 32-4.

Buckeye Heat 13-U (Allen) win Fall Ball League Championship CONGRATULATIONS

The Buckeye Heat 16U (Abraham) team placed third in the Fairborn Memorial Blast May 29, 2005, placed second in the John Wells Memorial Super Six in Zanesville June 5, 2005, finished in top 8 out of 32 teams at Compuware June 19th 2005, placed third in the Stingray Invitational June 12th, 2005, tied for third in Sluggerfest II June 26th 2005, finished 17th out of 55 teams July 3rd, 2005 at the Colorado Fireworks tournament, finished 3rd out of 24 teams July 17th, 2005 at GAPSS, and tied for first place out of 42 teams at the Toledo Fastpitch Classic July 24th, 2005. Abraham's team wrapped up the 2005 season by playing up at the 18-U level and taking first place at the  GFOD Final Blast II July 31st 2005. Most of the young ladies on this team were still 14-U eligible this year. The team's final record for the summer was 47-18. CONGRATULATIONS on your 2005 season!

 

The Buckeye Heat 18U (Ristas) team placed second in the Rip It Up Pony National Qualifier tournament June 5, 2005, finished in the top ten at Sluggerfest II June 26th, 2005 and placed second at the Phoenix Summer Slam July 3rd, 2005. This team will be attending USSSA "A" Nationals in Shawnee Kansas. CONGRATULATIONS

 

The Buckeye Heat 16U (Pierce) team took second at the Whitehall Hall of Fame ASA Qualifier June 5, 2005, qualified for USSSA Nationals at the Phoenix Summer Slam July 3rd, 2005, and placed second at the Ohio Classics Pony Qualifier July 10th, 2005. They will be attending USSSA Nationals this year. CONGRATULATIONS

The Buckeye Heat 14U (May) team placed third in the Beavercreek tournament June 5, 2005. They will be attending Pony "A" Nationals in Sterling. Virginia. CONGRATULATIONS

       
The Buckeye Heat 13U (Clark) team placed second in the Independence Weekend Blowout July 3, 2005. This team finished in the top four of every tournament played this year. They have chosen to attend FAST Nationals in Orlando, Florida. CONGRATULATIONS

 

The 12U (Kelly) team finished second in Pickerington July 3rd and has qualified for the USFA Nationals. This team took first place at the Cincinnati World Series! CONGRATULATIONS
